Carlos Arias blends a unique mix of dance and athletic-based aerobic moves into this 63-minute high/low workout. You'll find high-intensity moves like lunges and plyometric jumps mixed in with the dance moves. This DVD workout is wonderfully accessible to both the dancers among us and those of us who are 'dance-impaired' (that's what I call myself!). Both groups will be successful with Carlos because of his emphasis on including athletic moves. After the cardio, you'll do some abdominal work before the final stretch.
The DVD menu chapters correspond to the Latin dances you'll do: Athletic Salsa, Spanish Rhumba, Latin Xplosion, Merengue, Soca, and the cooldown which is Latin Hip-Hop. You can mix and match any of these sections. You also have the option of two shorter pre-mixed workouts (47 minutes and 41 minutes). |
