Two yoga practices, a lovely music CD, a diet plan for the body building practice, and an asana mini-chart for the body-building practice make up this rare package from India. Body Building Yoga (22 minutes) uses light ankle and wrist weights in a unique series of asanas designed to complement your weight training program. Two of the asanas use a lightly-weighted bar, for which you can substitute a dowel, broomstick, or unweighted barbell. Eyes Yoga (14 minutes) starts with eye exercises and moves into postures that help stimulate optical nerves and improve circulation to the eyes. There is a 10-minute warmup in addition to the times listed above. Both programs allow you to choose either English or Hindi instruction. The accompanying music CD, called Harmony of Life, is beautiful and perfect for meditation. |
