Daniel Gonzalez starts Spanish Step with a refreshingly slower-paced than usual tempo, building it throughout the workout. It's truly a breath of fresh air. The speed increases little by little, and about halfway through the workout, you're stepping at 'normal' tempo. The entire workout has a mellow, just-groovin' feel to it with a soundtrack that complements it perfectly. Daniel gives you a total of four combos, and there are two 16-count asymmetrical pieces within two of the combos. The
asymmetrical components not only add interest, but also exercise your brain. Total workout length approximately 54
minutes. DVD special features include bloopers, an interview with Daniel, and bonus choreography blocks from Robert Steinbacher and Rebecca Small.
Daniel Gonzalez lives in Spain where he manages a sports club when he's not on the presenting circuit. He was voted
Intergyms Instructor of the Year in 2000 and Best International Presenter in 2006. |
