Nicki Doane concentrates on standing poses in this DVD. Your legs will get a serious physical workout while your mind and spirit get focused, relaxed, calmed, and centered. Instructor Nicki Doane is trained in Ashtanga yoga and, although this is not an Ashtanga practice, you will see an Ashtanga influence. Rather, it's an active vinyasa flow, done at a pace slow enough to allow you to hold the poses for a good length of time.
There are three practices on this DVD. The full-length practice is 45 minutes. The other two practices, 20 and 30 minutes each, are perfect for days you're time-challenged. The DVD was filmed on Maui, so you get the bonus of beautiful scenery! |
