Joyce takes the traditional pyramid principle of weightlifting and spices it up by mixing in quartets of exercises. You'll do a quartet of exercises for four different body parts, pyramid it by using lightest, heavier, then heaviest weights, and then move on to another quartet. There are separate workouts for upper and lower body. There is also a bonus mini-workout for troublesome body parts (triceps and thighs). You'll need three sets of dumbbells and a weight bench or step for the lying-down exercises. |
