The 90-minute program consists of the following parts: DAN-JUN HO HEP: Breathing exercises designed to promote diaphragm breathing. DO-IN BUP: Warm-up stretches incorporating both traditional stretching and self-massage techniques. YANG-IN EXERCISES: Aerobics based on martial arts. This section of the aerobics program focuses on the lower body with lots of precise, powerful kicking moves. EUM-IN EXERCISES: The second aerobics section, focusing on the upper body. Both aerobic sections include both kicking and punching, but each section has a different concentration. YANG SENG KI-GONG: Static exercises performed with the fingers and toes. In Korean medicine, each finger and toe is connected to specific body functions. For example, exercising the pinky finger helps the function of the small intestine and heart, while the pinky toe works on kidney and bladder functions. YANG SENG MASSAGE: A workout partner is needed to perform these massage techniques. The instructor provides meticulous instruction in order to ensure safety. |
